15 years in the bottle
“The lees are some of the most influental particles of wine regarding its taste. At the beginning of the history of Agárdi Distillerry, we were visited Tokaj Oremus winery and we tasted some suberb Furmint wines. We brought the separated fresh lees immediately to our distillery, distilled, and filled an oak barrel previously used for Tokaji Aszú ageing. Years passed the distilled lees spirit was maturing in the Aszú barrel until we finally tasted it. The spirit in our glass exceeded all of our expectations! We realized that unique spirit had been born. The richness of flavours and refinement of details characterise this drink. The 365 limited edition bottle is a worthy expression of what we have been working for in Agárdi Distillery since its foundation in 2002.”
