• A blended spirit made of the most classical Hungarian fruit: apple. Its attractive golden colour comes from barrel ageing since our apple pálinka is matured in new and used oak. On the nose the scent of apple is accompanied by notes of vanilla and coffee, and some tones of butter, clove and cinnamon can also be discovered. Behind the spices, the ripened fruit dominates the nose. Amazingly full bodied when tasted with apple sauce and apple pie with the fresh flavours of the fruit and soft texture. The dry test of Aged Apple pálinka will show notes reminiscent of Calvados besides vanilla and apple notes.

  • This pálinka aged in new oak barrel impresses us with its spicy nose with cinammon and flowers. It is made of ’Penyegei’ or the so called „I don’t know”’ plum, from orchards where plum trees are surrounded by flowery breeze scented with cinnamon indeed. The golden colour comes from the barrel ageing. ’Penyegei’ or „I don’t know” plum has grown for centuries in the flood basin of the river Tisza and Szamos, and even when cultivated it does not need special care. Its smaller fruits have pale blue colour and yellow, thick, dense flesh. It gives high yield but in a hectic way, usually towards the end of August. Agárdi produces an elegant, layered, complex spirit of this variety. Recommended with an outstanding cigar or to accompany a delicious coffee.
